Xian gu dian show

In this month, we had this cute little guest..she is ah ru, ah xio's daughter..realli cute girl but very naughty ..haahaa

Then on one of the night we acted luo sheng, which had the 7 step poem..by cao jian..

Once again due to audience request, we bring back the show about youjiakuay...This story is a very sad story.It says about this poor family in the village which lives 3,a mother and 2 sons.The elder son leaves home and go earn money in the capital and eventually started a fabric business. One day, his servant bring him to this brothel to listen to ladies singing. In the end, he fell in love with this singer, however this is actually a trap by the servant n singer as both of them already got affair and they simply just wan to cheat away all his money. Who knows this guy fell in love with the singer n ask her for marriage. On the other hand when he is rich, he fetch his younger bro,a retard, to stay with him while the mother wish to stay in the village, ancestor house. Things start to happen when the guy went on long business trip, the wife n the servant was having affair in one of the room and happen to be met by the younger bro. Both the adulterers were afraid that the retard would leak out words to the elder bro so they set up trap by forcing the retard to smoke opium. In the end the retard got addicted on opium and had to beg for more drug. In the end with the return of the bro, seeing the younger bro learned all the bad things he was dissapointed. To make things worst, the wife make a fuss that the younger bro in law wanted molest her. Thus the elder bro in anger wanted the servant to pass him a wooden rod to hit the bro to teach him a lesson to wake up from his idea, however the servant passed him a axe. In the end, without any notice he accidently just slash across the neck and killed the younger bro. Being afraid and devastated, he then did a funeral for the bro and buried the corpse under the bed. As the retard became a vengeful ghost and he goes all the way back to his old home and appear in his mother's dream telling his mum that he is death n suffering. Thus the mother was very sad n curious worry for the son she went all the way to the capital to find her older son. In the end she found out her younger son was dead and she went to find official to address her redress..The elder son was brought to justice by chopping the head. When the son was about the be killed, the mother regretted and wanted to withdraw her case but it was too late and the mother cried in agony.

The mother..we 2 extra haha we are only the servants..

The part you jia kway was slashed on the neck and blood was spurt out from the neck. As can see from the face where he was a heavy drug addict.His wandering spirit was on the way back to the home to find his mother.
Ps: When the photo was taken, it was seen in the photo that there are many orb around. It is believe that such orbs are actually spirits flying around. Esp during such Yin scence, it is also believe in the opera that ghost or spirits would usually gather around.

I see i shall juz briefly blog through this month's happenings...

Basically in this month, we do not have much big opera, mostly are all 7 pl troupe (七艺班) or puppet show (掌中班/布袋戏). When i see our schedule, i was thrilled as this month's show can relax liaox...cause small troupe i always got no worries as i need not rush as our show starts at 8pm so can take my time to make up etc...heehee..furthermore for puppet show i am even more happy, no need make up etc juz need to sit behind the stage and sing and hold puppet niahx(never take photo for puppet show lolx).... Whoo...I see god light in the month... a relaxing month..

This is the show in sembawang..this 7th month celebration is very big...organised by the block of companies there...by a few hundred companies! we got 1 week show there...

Next destination is our favourite west coast temple...first day went there to sing puppet show and next 7 days all small troupe..fun...

COn't with the our show.... Second night our show is 江山换美人.. In this show...I got the role of a god. This god is a loyal and brave warrior who serve caocao during the 3 dynasty. So this god is to teach 程咬金 this 开天七十二斧法。During the two scene, the first one i appear and intro who am i (with some part to show my axe martial ). Second scene is to the teaching part. Wa shag...this one got abt 5-8 mins of martial art where i keep playing with the axe not stop.... For this role i din take photo... Yo...In this i going to blog about the first day show...haahaa

First day was a very very shag day for us...At first in my mind, our show gonna be easy and even if we be pengkia or calefe we also just stand there....

HOWEVER TO MY HORROR !! MAYBE to OUR horror!!

we need to run when we battle....SHAG!!! ON the first 3 night show alot of fighting etc and the stage is big, we got to run and run and shout!!! After the first night, everyone is shouting pain here and there... maybe everyone haven exercise for long...haahaa

All our inner white costume dun know wet like what!!!!haahaa

BUT we enjoy the process and got the satisfaction!! Like what Wenjun says:输人不输阵，要拼到底。。

I had just finished the show in Koo Chye Ba Sheng Hong Temple yesterday on 7th Aug. Sorry was too busi to post photos and post up before and during the show...SO NOw i shall start my posts on SHtemple.

Just a slight intro...(those who are in this cricle will know this).
In Singapore, SHT is a place where Singapore troupe will put on their best show and it is kinda a type of grand there as it is competitive or considered as a competition ground where troupes will put in their best in everything from props,costumes, music to acting skills.

Very Glad to have them to act with us ...During the 8 days we coordinate well and everything run on smoothly...haahaah... I am not going to blog about the shows we do but from what i know and have...

On the first 2 days due to our mic system is a new set so we had a bit of problem with it...and of cuz on the 3rd day onwards the whole mic system regain to its full power and everyone was glad...

This time round i can say that the respond is not bad as the 3 days we had quite alot of audience...they sit untill the big caishenye statue (for those who know the place)...Hoohoo...

Last Sat was my birthday..And I find that my birthday this year is esp meaningful as i get to celebrate it on stage and furthermore its my 21st birthday...Thanks to those who celebrated for me and i really appreciate the efforts of your arranging my birthday to be celebrated on stage..The major one was in Hougang by my troupe pl and the 2nd one was in Marsiling by aiqin and shu bao.

Remember May 2008 last year was my first time performing in this current troupe and the show was 孝子审母亲。Today finally I get to act this show again..Same role..but this time was simply different from that time as I had more experience and know what the show was going on...Last time I only sing 2 verse of 七字仔。But last night , me and ah guang each sing 培思，七字仔，六角美人. 3 songs lei..Not bad liaox...Even though little amendment was made to the show to enhance it..but I believes I had done better than last round le...heheee...compare the photos...diff de lor...

Last night which was 9 Feb, we had this show in amk ave 10.This show was a one which everyone was expecting becuz we had never acted this show since many years ago.. 神童仙女定江山 was a show started with everyone go and wish the Jade Emperor as it is his birthday..so we had sun wu kong, celestial warriors and the heavenly maidens/ fairies...

However, ah yan was the heavenly fairy but she brought something call 圆仔花 from the mortal world up to the heaven and Jade Emporer abolish her to the mortal world for suffering...Ah yan was abolish to the mortal world and she gave birth to this boy call song piat lian who is a very bright boy.cute siahz...wah..her acting skills realli memserize the whole of the audience...really cute and superb to the max...Ah Tin who acted the both the Jade emporer and Emporer role last night...Haahaaa
Towards the end of show, there is some Yim scene ..In the hades...Ah zhe as the wen Judge..Haahaa...not bad la, ah yan was joking that we all 作人不像，作鬼很像

My gratitude towards my troupe

Time passes by fast and I had almost been in Xin yan Ling for about 8 plus months since 27 May 2008.In this big family, I had never regretted joining and indeed i really learn alot here than where i had learnt previously..Over here, I realli feel the family warmth by everyone and I think I would want to name them to give them the credit !

Our Troupe LEADER ( our ah ma aka grandma):

She will always ask us to be good children. Ask us to put in our heart to learn and encourage us that we will be able to make it one day..She will also ask if im tired and shag in army..

2. ZHu Guan (our teacher):

She always ask if we are tired, hungry etc at all times..Furthermore, she will always bring us bread cuz she scared that we are hungry.. The greatest thing is that she had all the patience in this world to teach us everything we need to learn and she will really explain things clearly for us to understand .

3.Ah Yan JIE:

She will ask if we are tired,whether we have eaten all these..She do take care of us at time like children..haahaa...

4.Ah TIN (can be my mummy liaoz):

*want to know why? Cuz we ban xian go pray pray then ah tin keep saying mother bring son go temple pray pray..See the photo below!

She will ask us to go back early..dun take taxi as economy is bad and save money.Haha...Initially we thought she was quite stern but once we get to know her...she is a funnie person who nowadays keep joking and laughing with us.Her laughter is cute la...

5.Siew Eng Yi :

She will always teach us things if we got afternoon show with her.She is quite quiet but after toking to her, she is kind of motherly too...

6. Last of ALL ...Johnson (laopa):

This ah pa always take care of us...worry everything about is and he will always want us to be the best situation in term of appreance on stage.. His make up haahaa is alot and he always give us good things to use till we also paiseh..esp things he buy from taiwan or hong kong..Sometimes his headgear or hairpcs that he made haven use before, he would juz let us use!..

I want to express a million THANKS to them for doting me so much and I would work out my best to learn as much things as i can..

I would REALLY want to bring out this thing to everyone ..

STREET OPERA DO NOT TEACH US BAD THINGS ! NEITHER THEY ASK US TO SMOKE OR GAMBLE !!! IN FACT, THEY ADVISE US NOT TO TAKE US SUCH BAD HABIT..SO idiots out there stop the HELL SHIT THAT YOUR BEEN ACCUSING STREET OPERA !!

Anyway, recently I had heard rumours that got person saying about me cannot make it in opera! Its ok nevermind.even i dun make it, I still dun have a foxy make up! I dun give a damn it about what is said to hurt me..as can be seen people are jealous...What a joke man! at least what im acting is a full 3 hr show...and not always the 10-15mins shit things performing again and again lo...Oh ya..I almost forgot to mention.. that at least i got fans..you leix? ghost also dun have..

SO WHAT? My troupe members heard that and they all were like saying the person very good mehz?KNS...They ask me to perform well and crave my niche in this area. So what if you are the main role? Want to know the ans? All the people also kena axe by you once they are better than you..so everyone leaves and how u got ur "niaM" lead role. Ops the main is read the other way round as you are a pcs of useless bum from the bottom of the sewage dump!

JUST TO TELL the PERSON :

MY TROUPE LEADER HAD MENTION TO ME ON 31st January 2.24pm that she will push me to learn 2nd sheng role in afternoon show. She will make chance for me be train for the performce!

Recently I juz made a more dua ban guan during CNY eve..It was a 3 hr plus work ....It can be said to be multi purpose la...Can use as a sheng guan..with my extremely dua ban orange costume..Secondly, can be use as a feng guan also...

First performance of 2009.

We performed with ah shio from taiwan...ok la..quite fun as there are some funni moments which we had a good laugh siahx...heehee..I felt quite glad as i had never had a chance to take photo with xiu eng even though i had perform in the troupe for almost 8 months..So we decided to take 2 photo ! In this performance, I change my way of make up...After all i feel quite ok but not satisfied enough..

The MOST STUPID thing is my hair...As im lazy to wear my taiwan wig, i wore a gu ding instead..the guding is not bad la...but because the fringe is not long enough, that makes the front looks funni..but ok la since its the first try....

It had been weeks since i acted in the big troupe...the last i acted was in the 7 pl troupe...Thus Sat night i decided to perform to ease my itch for acting but on the other hand my temple was having banquet (which i forsake) haahaa...However it was very rush for me as i book out late so had too fly home and fly all the way to yishun!who knows, i completed my make up and wig within 25minutes siah...not too bad la.... see the pic to justify...was abit dissapointed in the eye becuz was modify by someone and it became abit thick on the left eye...right was what i drawn which i find it not too bad.....

Already trying my best to look GREAT on stage!!

THis is my johnson-lao pa...Haahaa he takes good care of us when we are in the troupe...(everyone dotes us)Ah Ni...Not bad la...I personally feel that she realli improves alot within these few months in xin yen ling...she know how to do her make up (around 15-30mins),dress up her hair and also she is copying me lo to make headgear (joking)..see her headgear quite nice la...she made it herself...good job!!

Thoughts???

Today, I suddenly had some thinking about opera. I notice that I had been in this acting circle for about a year which is typically short as compared to other youngster who are in this circle. However, I feel that I had been spending alot of my money in this form of art....Recently, I am crazy about purchasing costume from taiwan and making of headgears...oh my god!!!I juz found out that I had almost 2-3k of collection of costume liaox...and all my haipcs and headgears costs me ard 1-2k in total..Kinda shock sia....but in return, i can dress up nicely and had a wide range of items to use...Eventually, I feel it is quite worth ..anyway i got 2 more sets of costume coming soon next month...

Anyway, ah Ze, wanni and me are discussing how to bring xinyenling online...haahaa wait for the launch of this ba....

Yesterday our troupe had two area of performance, one in amk which is the big opera and one in old airport road that is the 7 people troupe...so shifu asked me to follow ah guang and ah yan to old airport road ...so I went there to perform....The performance was smooth and great...haahaa ..I got a chance to become a xiao sheng in the show and i pair up with ah yan...we sing and act together...rare opportunity...

Wanni and me...wanni acting as ah yan's maid who was killed by the ladyboss and her secret lover..but in the end she kena save by someone and help to seek justice when her boss was accused and jail for killing her.

Ah yan was a rich man's daughter but kena ill treat by the step mother...when she wan to commit sucide then i save her..

Was busy for the past week and finally got the time to post up the photos where i acted at hougang (天花拿督公) there...see the photos posted and can notice this time round i had use another colour of the eye shadow budden i find that it does not realli suits me....i dun look good in this colour but for the blusher...the colour is nice..hahaa

Notice on my costume? I added balls of feathers around the coustume and it looks nicer...when i bring there, my dear shifu gave me tips on how to make a costume...haahaa learn alot as she realli teach me on getting the techniques on making a costume...further more she say this set of costume was made not bad for a first timer like me....heehee...feeling great to wear costume and headgear made by myself !!! Its a sense of achievement...

As for me now...I am going well and learning well in XYL and now I got more chance to act greater roles....got chance to sing and fight...haahaa..Though tiring but at least I enjoy and there is a sense of satisfaction..I simply wish thAt i CAN slim down by another 10kg or more to look nicer on stage...

HI...These few weeks had been busi making some new hair pcs...I had manage to finish a few sets....These are the photos....

SET1 : This belongs to a simpler one that i had done...Main colour purple and white...

It looks more shiny then this...the lighting is not bright enough...

SET 2: Main Colour green and white...I added alot of diamonds..very shingy...

SET 3: Silvery WHite...This one is purely designed using diamonds...High cost siahx...But I simple love it very much as it is very cool and stylish...

SET4: This set i made for the the use of wedding occasion....There are 3 ways to use this guan...

Method1: Simpler and smaller pcs just use it alone..

Method 2: This can be use if you are those royalties or being a bridegroom...More duaban...I purposely make the smaller pcs detachable so this set can be use flexibilitly....

Method3: If you dun wan the 2 thing to stick out to be so dua ban...you can fold it to the back of your ponytail and pin it to the side of your hair..Looks nice...

Juz finished a charity show on mooncake festival...It was kinda of fun...The show was great...everything went on smooth and the audience was entertained...The organiser was happy with our show and in fact they were so kan chiong and ask us to perform for them during next year chinese new year...Haahaa

Here comes the second night...Tonight the show is 楊天將鬧皇宮. This show is nice and these two night are big shows cuz got many actors and actresses...There are alot of audiences too...

This is a 天神show which involves characters lyk 二郎神,天狗,三聖母,沉香,孫吾空.
Nice story and exciting..

Our dearest 澤澤 act as monkey god...he realli good at it lo..When he go out stage, he says about his story about the past with buddha...beri great!! becoming my idol liao siahx...haahaa..Too bad the take out his feathers le...

Day Show

This is the second day afternoon show pictures i had took..First dqay din take lo cuz busi..haahaa.. Can see the rest busi doing their show and doing their hair pcs...my part had finished and waiting for my turn to go on stage....Afternoon show quite fun too..cuz can 自由發揮...哈哈...Jus took few pics but i think this one looks better.....

As can be seen, the afternoon show quite simple ..no nid to wear wig ...juz need to put on light make up..mine consider abit heavy lo...I din use foundation, juz use compact powder...haahaa...I did the make up in around 20mins to 30mins..the day before, it took me about an hr (but the make up is more heavy like normal performance)...haahaa..

HI!!!

Today is a great day for me... I went to 新燕玲 to perform...its my first streetie show and it was fun....Everyone there are so helpful...I can realli feel the sense of teamwork by the troupe...Paiseh...cuz they always ask us to go there and play play...try our courage...finally...i made my decision before going to army...As said before...street opera is our singapore gzx root mah...so i must try.....Furthermore, their sincerity and they jovial, friendly and heartwarming attitude makes me even more wanna try acting with them... *I go there act not due to fame or popularity..I go becuz they are good and supportive frends...

Not bad la....In the afternoon show, i tried out a couple of songs to sing...SATISFIED！！！

Then in the night show孝子審母親 , I was given the role of the 王爺's 部下...quite much chance to sing and act...Then after that follow by the majesty's bodyguard....It was fun and thrilling ...cuz in street opera no really a script ma...then everything will be impromt 2 and everything that is being sing and said will be on the spot..haahaa..One word to describe...FUN and FUN...

Ok... I will upload more of my photos in the next post but this post i will put on the make up photo...There is also a video attached...where i sang..

The scene is..I follow the majesty and the princess to go and tour for sightseeing then who knows, we met a bandit..so to protect the majesty...I fought with the bandit but he was too skillful so i lost and the majesty they all kena lost....

Last year in July, I just visited Sichuan,Chengdu. The place is really a nice city and through this earthquake, a portion of sichuan turned into a disaster area..To me, I really feel sad for those who died in the disaster itself, esp the young children and new born that were in schools and hospitals respectively...Last week, when I was at koo chye ba sheng hong temple, sin sai hong came down to the audience to sell bun to raise fund..of course i did donate,but i think that the victims needs more than what was raised...

I REALLY HOPE THAT ANYONE THAT READS MY BLOG CAN HELP BY MAKING SOME DONATIONS TO THE SICHUAN RELIEF CENTER...

Finally, We had eventually roam out our own world of opera. Haahaaxx..Feeling so great...霓龍歌仔戏,扮仙隊is finally established and had our very own business.Not bad.. earn quite some money... Its considered A SUCCESSFUL MISSION !!!!

These are the photos...costume is not that nice but at least presentable...the make up all gone haywire as it was a terrible day with scorching sun ..I was perspiring lyk hell ... but wanni was still ok. I lyk her make up that day.. It was great...

We had praises from the organiser and the 壽桃,壽面and發糕..that we had brought out for the ban xian trip was even a more overwhelming amount.... It was being bid to $4899 for the banquet night.....Wooo!!!! Had praises from everyone and actually had another organiser wanted to engage us for their temple celebration during inviting of jade emporer but due to time constraint...we rejected the deal....

Haha.. It is officially almost a month that I had not been blogging...haahaa.. I was busy with my association's work...First it was the Airshow then follow by the Career Exhibition...

Then my sintua.. I had help out this week as my tua is having celebration for guanyin dan... It was tiring but of cuz the people who really need full rest are the few heros and heroins.

So that should briefly covers what I had been doing for the past 1 mth. As you know its the Singapore Chinese Arts festival now, so AX had show at Elias CC on 29th March which is today.. It was fun and this is really my first show in AX. Yesterday, 28th night was really a very vexed night for me. I could not coordinate well with the few musicians (trying to be nice) during the rehearsal and I felt really fedup.So.. I had this thinking of being MIA and don't go for the performance..However after in depth thinking, I felt that I should still continue with the irritating show...And I did quite ok for the show which I feel very satisfied....Heehee...I gt a few praises from the 2 audience and 1 waitress at the banquet...Haahaa..I din mention to anyone on the way back with my troupe members but I think its good to officially announce here to HAOLIAN..kekez..

I think i shouldn't continue some more on the previous topic as it is an never ending one.Maybe you can say that I'm infact tired of this topic!!

The purpose of this post is to show off my unfinish costume. I had only done the inside orange blouse but not the outer one. But i wad eager to take photo with that so i used the silver shimmering costume i made years ago to go with this. The result was not that bad to me and I will continue work hard to finish the costume and will take photo with the full set.

Note: I done the make up in a rush time of 15mins...Pls do not blame if its bad...

Street Opera VS OPera 1

Well I believed that i had stopped my blog for quite some time....This is due to the workload I had and now my company, we are all damn busi for the Singapore Airshow and followed by the Career Exhibition 2008 in next week.

Ok, i shall actually go into the topic i would like to bring up today and i think that it is going to be a controversial topic for all the opera"reans". To me, people around me had been talking about Street Opera, Stage Opera as well as TV Opera.

Within these group of people, they are actually differentiating the grades of these opera. Even before I could announce which belongs to the lowest class, you should have an answer in you heart. At times, I would realli fedup with people who are criticising street opera. Furthermore, they can tell you that the taiwanese street opera has far more standard then the local ones NOW!!! I guess that from our eyes, it is realli very obvious that Singapore's opera shows had their standard dropping and it is sometimes actors are juz acting for the sake of acting.

Common complaints had been heard by opera fans or people within the circle BUT everytime before you complaint, do you stop for a second to think back how much factors or challenges that the local opera troupe had been fighting hard to survive. In taiwan it is a different case because their people are still enjoying this genre of performing art but not among our Singaporeas. Who will have the extra time to go and watch opera when they are working hard in this stressful and hectic city. If challenges like no younger generation learning and watching opera in taiwan, I am sure they will also be what our local troupe is now! DUn tell me such thing would not happen but sincerely that i would like to express that you people are narrow minded and naive.

As a result, it is very difficult to look for sponsors for the opera troupe because it has lose its value in advertising. For example, a food product; would the marketing person like to ask a actress who has the popularity to advert their product or juz a average auntie who people din even go and notice. Thus the survival of troups in Singapore is difficult. Most of the times, we dun listen to what these actors had to say or had what grievences. We simply juz complaint and complaint about them.......

Apart from that, you people dun even try of comparing the street opera with Stage or TV. They are all different cases. How sure can you people sure that these 2 types of opera are good? I am sure I will offend Yang Li Hua fan now but I am going to speak up the truth. Yang Li Hua juz had an performance in October last year, 2007.

I can TELL you the FACT that she cun act anymore!!! Her movement (Sheng duan) cannot make it le, her singing oso cannot make it le. I was very dissapointed with the show that was performed.

SO you people please do not criticise about the local street oper anymore!!!

Time flies!! My attachement is ending..which means that more things will fall on my shoulder rather than juz focusing on a project.

Last Thursday, there is something which really made me happy...

My lecturer came over to my office and talk to me to find out more about my attachement in this company. As usual, i juz report to her and engage in a short conversation.

So within the conversation she ask me about my blog!! Eventually it shows that even my lecturer visits my blog (even though is out of curiosity and to pass time since bo liao). I think I should contented.

Hmm....Let me post the abstract from our conversation...

L: Darran, i saw your blog and you are interested in opera? Seldom see young people who are in this....

M: Well, ther are in fact more and more youngster arounf my age, slightly older or younger who are interested in opera. I think most people had the misperception that opera is meant for older or senior people but the audience group is getting younger...

L: Realli? That sounds interesting. What do you like about the opera?

M: I think i lyk ther costume and their apperance alot..Especially those actor or actress who dress up with fanciful costume and make up until very suave or beautiful. This is something which is very fascinating to watch.
( Juz to add in something for my lecturer: Ms Fong, I lyk the tune in hokkien opera very much. The tunes are soothing and nice.)

L: Doesn't it is lyk cosplay?

M: In fact, now the hokkien opera their costume sometimes also adapt the concept from cosplay. Futhermore, some of the taiwan costume tailors are also tailors for cosplay. People are now actually persuing and mixing some of the japanese elements within the opera.

I was feeling kinda of stress and emo last week... I tried strolling along the road quietly for 45 mins which eventually made me feel better..

Well, as usual there are lots of endless stuffs which i cannot finish doing everything within a DAE!! Thats why i find it terrible...Furthermore, recently some of the clients are in lousy mood. esp _ _ _ _ _! ( cun disclose). Maybe he/she is busy with the office work, facing some family problems, stress of cleaning the house for CNY, having PMS or maybe bicker with Husband/ Wife ! There should be some reasons some where...

Well, I think I shall wrap up the post on MYH for their performance in Singapore. The show they prepared for the last night of performance is on Zhang Guo Lao and Lan Cai He. I like the ending of the show. It was a sad one and they brought the emotions out very well. Credits goes to CZX. She rocks...Especially when the Emperor ask Lan Cai He to imitate how to be a beggar, that was the mosting touching part where most audience couldn't hold back their tears.

Hi, this is my first post in the year 2008.

An late announcement to everyone is that Ming Hua Yuan Ri Tuan is now in Singapore GCB performing. They started their performance on 31/12/2007. They commenced their performance in Singapore by arrangine Liu Chuan Jin Gua to be the first show. I heard that it was a fabulous show and I decided to buy tickets to watch their show after that.

This is the first time that i am actually watching MHY's show. As compared to my other troupe members they had watched it just the last october 2007 in taiwan. It was a greater show because they have Sun Cui Feng there! Haha..

I had watched a few show at SH Temple by Xin Yin Feng lead by Kor Sor Hun.. I find the standard average lo..The rest shall keep the comments to myself ..Heeheex

For the few show i watched, I lyk Kor Sor Yong's back wig very much. Its mocha brown with realli soft and straight texture!! So nice...How i wish i can have one too...

Personally, I realli lyk that Justice Bao by a particular Ah Yi, she acted out the role damn well lor.. If you dun believe just go and watch la!

Cont' Phototaking / gonna miss a Show

Supposely to watch show with BX and WN but i was so sick. All thanks to the "Curry" served last night for supper. This is the first time watching Xiangju and i may had to give it a miss lo. Hoping that it would get better and i can go and watch the show..

That day before going to BX home, i checked my cam and made sure that the Batt is fuly charged and WHO KNOWS ......

I EVENTUALLY FORGOT TO OFF THE CAM AFTER LOOKING AT IT AND KEPT IT IN MY BAG !! In the end----> my cam batt became FLAT ! HAix, realli qi si lang ( anger pl to death in hokkien)... I would like to introduce this unique cafe which i visit frequenty. This cafe does not look very appealing outside but inside its really another world. This cafe actually have 2 storey,the first story will look like a very normal cafe but the second level is cool lo. It is actually like a pub where people can chill out and drink there..Its really a nice place.Moreover the drinks there are not so expensive.

I sincerely recommend this drink call Labrini under the beer category. I think i gonna give 3.5 star upon 5 to the drink becuz it really dun taste like beer.

I had been enjoying opera during my 19 years of life and i think watching opera is a great way to distress myself.However, recently some tong dao zhong ren had been encouraging me to join troupe. They say that it would be a waste that if i dun join a troupe since i lyk opera so much.

I am feeling very confused becuz i wan to join a troupe to learn how to act but i scared that i do not have the time commitment.

Time is never enough for me

Can any kind soul pls give me some advice??

Back from chengdu...

Im back from chengdu for a few days liaox...It was a fun and enjoyable trip in sichuan..Seriously in this trip i think i really learn alot of things from the companies there and from our dearest tour guide Lily...She is really a nice lady who is willing to share with us alot of her knowledge and experience. I had alot of chance to interact with her and found out many of the cultural stuffd in china.

As for the opera, we went to watch the sichuan opera bian lian (changing face). The changing was really cool and it is different from the bian lian we saw from singapore. They are realli pro and on top of that there is also a puppet show..The puppet there is very different from what we say from singapore and taiwan. Their puppet is ard 1m of height.It is very livily easpecially they way they pose, their expression and the finger is realli similar to actors acting in real live.. I am very impressed by that and think if there is a chance for me to get one of it back to singapore but there isn't such chance..
